Keynote Speaker
Unfortunately, for reasons beyond his control, Prof. Jan Theeuwes has had to cancel his arrival to Israel. Thus the keynote lecture at the Knights Hall is cancelled. The ISCoP committee has decided to hold instead, a social evening, hosting a playback theatre performance – an emotionally engaging and humorous improvisational show based on stories from the audience: A team of actors will listen carefully to the stories you share during the performance and bring them to life on stage in ways that are funny, moving, and empowering. The heart of the show will focus on stories drawn from significant moments in work: humorous moments, complex situations, emotionally charged encounters, times of challenge, and moments of growth and success. The performance will take place in Rooms A & B at the Akko hostel. We kindly ask that if you have any interesting, funny, awkward or even embarrassing stories related to your work as scientists and students, or to academia more generally – please prepare them as a short scenario that you can share with us during the show.
